Food Distribution of Fresh Produce, Dairy Products & Meat ONE AFTERNOON ONLY! EVENT: Tuesday, March 30, 2021 AFTERNOON ONLY! ONE Starting at 2:00 PM Sharp - For as long as the food supply lasts Location: Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2911 18th Avenue NW (Parking lot behind the church) Free boxes of food were given out during an earlier Farmers to Families food distribution, providing 1,200 boxes of fresh produce to people in Rochester on Oct. 20, 2020. In October 2020, with just twodays notice, a Food Distribution Event was put together which put 1,200 boxes of fresh produce FREE into the hands of those who had need. This event will distribute even more. This food is part of a program started to help farmers distribute produce. Meat and dairy product that would have gone to restaurants pre-Covid-19. Now, through the help of USDA, the farmers, and helpful organizations - this food will get into the hands of families in need. Please note that ANYONE (In need or NOT in need) can participate. Food from: "Farmers to Families" of Tulsa, Oklahoma. An amazing opportunity here in Rochester to distribute boxes of food to Olmsted County residents, valued at approximately $60 each.
